This discomfort in my mind,
I’ve been here before,
This uneasy and forceful patience,
My feigning laughs,
The cold embrace of this gloominess,
I’ve been here before.
The mind is honest,
The mind can read lies,
The mind can tell wrong from right,
But the heart is a liar,
It’ll try to justify,
The deceit with the compulsion,
The lie with the forgiveness,
The wrong with the ignorance.
This unjustly play of mind and heart,
I’ve been here before,
This creeping malaise,
This fear in my body,
I’ve been here before,
I’ve been here before.
