Escaped

Escaped

Escaped..

The brick walls don’t suit her anymore,
Neither do the same chores interests her,
What if, the never-ending sky is her roof?
And the earth, which has thousands of stories to tell the bed?

Envied by her vibrant zeal,
She became a trapped bird in a cage,
Relinquishing her own freedom to the iron bars,
Once ‘fluttering’ now is ‘fragile’.

How much shall it weaken her?
Every time she is burnt,
She rises from her own ashes
Rises up to conquer the world,
And to escape the limits of the society she barely knows.
