• Life Whisperers

    The extent of my motherhood
    Is to nourish,
    What will nourish me.
    My tiny little ones,
    The sky embracers,
    And also my teachers.
    To you I bow,
    As I strain to listen
For the quiet ways of knowing
    You so eloquently bestow,
To your younger brothers and sisters:
    The people of the Earth.

  • Flaming

    I feel so humbled
The task before me seems so great,
    Can I manifest my Truth?
If intention is the ignition for this quest
Then I am already on fire.

  • Upwelling Emotions

Caught in the moment was I
    Forgetting to pause
    To take deep breaths
And so I let the emotions overcome me
I observed the frustration, the annoyance of having things
    Not go my way.
“Center, and calm yourself!” I wanted to shout
To push aside the negativity away
    But stubborn were these feelings
So empathy I sought to inv…[Read more]

  • Sourcing In to Find Out

From where do I source my joy?
I think it is from remembering
    The stuff we’re made of
That deep, profound sense of compassion
    Which some call God,
    or the Universal Spirit.
I think it is when we forget who we are,
    It’s easy to feel lost
    And without direction.
    So I invite you,
    To sink into your roots
And feel the depths of…[Read more]

  • My Breath

    Hold steady
    Little one
    Listen
    Watch your breath
It is your lifeline to me.

  • Love Letter

    Dear Earth,
Please teach me your quiet knowing ways,
How to adapt and flow, like the coursing rivers,
    The veins of the Earth
    Filtered by the liver
    Of soil and rock.

I want to know the patience
    of the steadfast mountains,
    I admire so much:
    Reaching for the skies
Yet grounded deep in the Earth,
    Creating layers of fascinating…[Read more]
