Have you ever gotten a chance to see double rainbows?  Double rainbows rarely appear and only a few people ever get a chance to see them. And Jet Li was one of those who recently saw stunning double rainbows in Nepal. He recently shared the story of his memorable journey on his website Jetli.com.

Jet Li’s Memorable Nepal Trip

The iconic Hollywood star Jet Li traveled to Nepal and Bhutan for a retreat earlier this year. During that time, he visited several Buddhist areas including Asura and Yangelsho Caves in Nepal. These caves are located in the southern part of Kathmandu on the way to Pharping. Asura and Yangelsho are renowned historical places for Buddhist people where Guru Rinpoche – Padmasambhava achieved the state of Mahamudra.

Li came to Nepal with the same purpose and went to the place where Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava practiced a thousand years ago. During this journey, Li spent seven days in two different places. He met up five teachers individually and went into deep meditation for seven days.

The most memorable piece of his retreat was that he saw astounding twofold rainbows at the end of his seven-day-long deep meditation. The lamas even told him that they had not seen this kind of amazing double rainbows in 15 years.

Even Li felt that it was an auspicious sign for him and it was a really exciting moment when he saw it. According to Li, that moment could not be explained with words. At the end of this journey, he was deeply grateful to all teachers who had taught him so far. Li believes their teaching has helped him through different stages of his life so far. He added that he will continue to move forward in meditation and help others along the way.
