Words fall short when we are to express our love for our mothers. We try nevertheless, with love messages and poems. Here we have collected several short poems on mother written by different talented peoples. These poems are dedicated to all mothers who have held our hands through our difficult times and made us the person we are now.
Poems on mother collections Part I:
This short poem is dedicated to our mother to appreciate things they have done for use. We thank all our moms for supporting us and bringing out the best of us.
What ‘Mother’ means
“Mother” is such a simple word,
But to me there’s meaning seldom heard.
For everything I am today,
My mother’s love showed me the way.
I’ll love my mother all my days,
For enriching my life in so many ways.
She set me straight and then set me free,
And that’s what the word “mother” means to me.
Thanks for being a wonderful mother, Mom!

Poems on mother collections Part II:
Wise Mother
You didn’t talk a lot, Mom;
“I love you” was pretty rare,
But when I needed mothering,
You were always there.
I could always count on you, Mom
To do what’s good and right.
I’d see your wisdom and the truth,
So we’d rarely have to fight.
You were strong enough, yet gentle enough
To be the perfect mother;
If I could search the whole wide world,
I wouldn’t pick any other.

Poems on mother collections Part III:
Mothers are our first teacher. They teach us love and happiness. This one is dedicated to all the talented mothers.
I Learned From You
I learned about love from you,
Watching your caring ways.
I learned about joy from you
In fun-filled yesterdays.
From you I learned forgiving
Of faults both big and small.
I learned what I know about living
From you, as you gave life your all.
The example you set is still with me
I’d never want any other.
I’m thankful for all that you taught me,
And I’m blessed to call you “Mother.”

Poems on mother collections Part IV:
This poem is dedicated to all the mothers out there who work non stop to make our life easier.
Everything Mom
How did you find the energy, Mom,
To do all the things you did,
To be teacher, nurse and counselor
To me, when I was a kid.
How did you do it all, Mom,
Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
I just can’t comprehend.
I see now it was love, Mom,
That made you come whenever I’d call,
Your inexhaustible love, Mom,
And I thank you for it all.

Poems on mother collections Part V:
No one in the world is like our mother. Our mothers are special for us in our own way. They protect us, and they show us the way.
Nobody’s Like You, Mom
Nobody’s quite like you, Mom.
You’re special in every way.
You cheer me up, you fill my cup
With tenderness, come what may.
Nobody loves me like you, Mom.
No matter what I do,
Good or bad, happy or sad,
You support me; You always come through.
Nobody’s equal to you, Mom.
With you in my life, I’m blessed.
I love you so, and I want you to know
I think you’re the very best!
