In Your Eyes, Beholder, An Undeviating Spark

Instead of worrying about the wrinkles on your face,
think about becoming kinder and gentler
think about leaving a positive mark on the world.

No matter how beautiful you are
you won’t be at peace
if you aren’t beautiful and peaceful from inside.

Outer beauty just pleases the eyes.
Inner beauty shows character, moral, values, and ethics,
that captivates hearts,
that lasts longer.

What’s the point of being pretty on the outside,
if you are so ugly on the inside?

It all reminds me of a quote that I heard a lot growing up,
beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder – just because what I think is pretty someone else may not, does not make it ugly.

I’m ugly, and I know it.

In case you think I’m kidding, let me make something perfectly plain. I’m not an idiot, my vision is fine. I know my face undefined, my hair too wreckage. But still, I take pride in who I am. For possessing such a beautiful soul.

Until you too make yourself beautiful inside, whenever you stand in front of the mirror, you will see nothing but the “ugly you”.

But let me tell you,

Hey, you!
Yes, you!

You are beautiful.
