The nine auspicious days, also called Navarathaa in Nepali, is celebrated as the festival of worshiping goddesses. It is commonly called Navaratra. ‘Nava’ means ‘nine’ and ‘ratra’ means ‘night’. Nine different avatars of Goddess Durga is worshiped in the nine days of Navarathaa.
With an aim to show these contemporary arts, Mithila Yain Art Gallery presented us with Nepal-India friendship art exhibition at Thamel, on September 6.
